She feels very lucky to run the company with her husband/Executive Chef/business partner, Brandon.

Good food. There's nothing like it. And if you're lucky enough to taste good food created by a highly trained award-winning chef—who also happens to be one of the most altruistic guys you will ever meet—then you get a triple whammy. But the whammies don't stop there when it comes to Chef Brandon Crosby, owner of Chupper Time Catering in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Nashville native has an extensive and interesting resume chock full of impressive culinary experiences. After graduating with a degree in culinary arts from Faulkner State in Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2003, Chef Crosby trained under Chef Gerhard Brill, former sous chef for Emeril Lagasse at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans and Executive Chef at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama.

After training with Chef Brill for three years, Brandon returned to his hometown of Nashville in 2006 where he joined forces with executive chef and restaurateur, Jason McConnell. Brandon was instrumental in the openings and culinary success of several popular Franklin, Tennessee restaurants owned by Chef McConnell including 55 South, Red Pony, Red Pony Catering, and McConnell House. Brandon went on to join forces with Executive Chef Hal Holden-Bach and successfully assisted in the opening of Lockeland Table in East Nashville.

Working and living in the Music City afforded boundless opportunities to network with people in the music industry. Given his culinary talents and contagiously upbeat personality, it is no wonder that Brandon eventually found himself working as a touring chef for musicians and bands such as Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, Florida Georgia Line, John Mayer and WWE. Additionally, Brandon worked as an artist caterer for large music festivals, most notably Bonnaroo.

After reconnecting with high school friend Casey Morgan in Nashville, Brandon moved to Huntsville, Alabama where Casey was living and working. Brandon and Casey eventually married and, at Casey’s urging, started their own company in 2015. Shortly after, they welcomed baby Wyatt in April 2015 and baby Henry in August 2017.

Brandon and Casey started by participating in local farmers markets and soon turned Chupper Time into a full-scale catering service. Even though the Crosby’s quick success has afforded them their own storefront, they can still be found at the popular Huntsville Hospital Farmers’ Market on the sprawling grounds in downtown Huntsville, the market that helped propel Chupper Time Catering into local celebrity status. Supporting local farmers and staying true to the ideals of the farm-to-table movement is key to Chupper Time’s success.

Chupper Time’s services include private chef work, wedding catering and event catering. After providing catering services for thousands of people in the entertainment industry, Brandon considers no job too big or too small. He simply loves to cook and hopes to introduce not just food, but also a culinary experience to those he serves. When it comes to food, Brandon readily accepts any challenge and has an extremely diverse cooking portfolio.
